Glen Phillips

One of the ‘Southern Cross’ poets, having been born in the region in 1936, Glen has since had his poetry, essays and prose published in several languages. Glen is Director of the International Centre for Landscape and Language at Edith Cowan University, and his lifelong interest in landscape features heavily in his writing. Glen is founder, patron and honorary life member of KSP. Glen has recently launched a collection of poem spanning 50 years, In the Hollow of the Land 1968-2018.

Tineke Van der Eecken

Tineke Van der Eecken is a Belgian-born Australian writer with a background in social sciences and a strong interest in art and culture. She is the author of Traverse, a travel memoir that navigates the reader through the landscape of Madagascar on the one side and her marriage on the other. Apart from Traverse, she also published Café d’Afrique in 2012, a memoir about her cultural restaurant in Zambia.

Anne Watkins (Goodhue)

Anne Watkins wrote her memoir about her journey on the 'Black Rose' and being the 7th New Zealand yacht to circumnavigate the world. Bruce and Anne were the youngest couple to achieve such a thing, 50 years ago. In an era that included the Cold War and the first man landing on the moon, they shared many experiences with other cruising friends, and had a 'whale' of a time. Setting out with Kim the cat as a companion, and coming home with a son, David.
